If you’re one of the jerks who pass the school bus when the red lights are on, might want to rethink. One school in Michigan has put cameras on the stop sign arm to catch, in high definition, any driver that passes the bus.

ABC12 reports that Holt School district has outfitted their buses with the cameras in an effort to catch drivers who break the law and put students’ lives in danger.

According to ABC 12:

The photos will be able to show the driver, vehicle and license plate.

Police can use those photos to issue citations to the responsible driver.

Remember the only time you don’t have to stop for the flashing red lights on a school bus, is if you both are on a divided highway and you’re going the opposite direction.

Props to Holt Schools, hopefully, we can find some money across the state to make this a thing school buses have now.
