Michigan State University’s 2016 Year in Review Video

This video shows 2016 was a pretty good year to be a Spartan.

It's strange to think about all of the things that have happened this year. Businesses closing, celebrities and artists dying, and how everyone was at each other's throats because of the presidential election.

But you know, it's not all bad.

Leonardo Dicaprio won an Oscar, people played that silly PokemonGo game - which lead to many new friendships (I'm sure), and also we got a new 'Harry Potter' movie and book (script ... but still).

On a more personal note, 2016 is the year I bought my first house and that my wife and I found out we were having a baby.

So, yeah, it's easy to look at and think about all the bad things that happen. But I try to look at that glass as half full now and then.

So here's to an even better 2017! Who knows, maybe this year I'll actually go to a college football game and be known as that guy who wont shut up about sports.

Eh, maybe not.
