Michigan's smallest running back is perhaps the most electrifying. Check out this explosive 52 yard run from Saturday.

Corum is living proof that if you put in the work, it will yield results. Corum is legendary for his work in the U of M weight room, recently admitting that he could blast out 25 reps of squats at 315 pounds AFTER a full workout.

That kind of effort has been paying off for Corum on the field for the Maize and Blue this young season.

In leading the Wolverines to their third straight victory, 63-10 over northern Illinois in the Big House on Saturday, Corum looked like a stone being flung out of sling shot as he electrified the 109,000 fans with a 52 yard touchdown run to start the second half.

And he ends his run with a little head dip likes he's running the 100 meter dash at the Olympics. Nice touch.

Corum is in the early discussions for the Heisman Trophy after scoring seven touchdowns and rolling up 405 yards on just 48 carries so far this season. That's a whopping eight and a half yards per carry.

In other college football news over the weekend, Michigan State looked impressive, rolling to a 38-17 win over Miami in Florida. The Big Ten East is shaping up to be a huge dogfight this season as Ohio State looks like they've come back to the pack a little, and Maryland, Indiana, Michigan and Michigan State all look really strong.

Meanwhile, Western Michigan stunned Pittsburgh from the Power Five ACC, 44-41 on the road. Central lost to SEC power LSU, 49-21 and Eastern defeated UMass 42-28 in other state college action.

In Division II, Grand Valley State remained undefeated with a 45-24 rout of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.
