The web site HowToWatch.com has compiled a list of the favorite '80s movie for every state.

Can I move to Wisconsin? Or better yet, Illinois? The site used Google analytics to find out what '80s movie titles were searched for the most in the past year for each state. That makes Michigan's favorite '80s movie Back To the Future.

I am underwhelmed.

It's an okay movie, but it's no Airplane! You see, I judge movies by how many quotable lines they have, and Airplane! is chock full of them, especially for those of us with juvenile minds, like, for instance, "Do you like Gladiator movies, Joey?"

And how about: "Can you fly this plane, and land it?" "Surely you can't be serious."  "I am serious... and don't call me Shirley."

And don't get me started on Turkish prisons and sniffing glue.

Back To The Future left us with what quotable lines? "Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads." Yup. that's about it.

Meanwhile, in Illinois, the Chicago based movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off is the top dog. That movie was not only quotable, it was inspirational. "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

I've based my life around that quote.

So, as movies go, we picked a good one, but not a GREAT one.

Carry on.
