The free movies on the public space in the Monroe North neighborhood are back for summer number two. Here's the lineup.

The movies will kick off June 7th on the huge screen along the Grand River at 555 Monroe Ave NW.

The gates open each week at 6pm with pre-show entertainment provided. The movies start at 7:30pm with an intermission between films. Residents are encouraged to bring their own chairs and beverages. You can rent chairs at the event, and there will be food trucks available if you don't want to pack your own dinner.

Pets are welcome, smoking is not. And if you feel the need to dress up in a costume as a character in the movie, please do so. I'm dusting off my Beetlejuice costume as we speak.
