Need more of a reason to get an Uber or Lyft this weekend while enjoying St Patty’s Day?

WOODTV reports that Michigan State Police will be stepping up patrols this weekend looking for drunk and/or impaired drivers.  It’s all a part of an international effort to help curb drunk driving called Operation C.A.R.E. (Crash Awareness and Reduction Efforts).

According to WOODTV, a press release from State police director Kriste Kibbey Etue says the state will not tolerate drivers who are impaired by alcohol or drugs.
