The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports multiple people were killed in a shooting incident at Molson Coors headquarters in Milwaukee Wednesday.

At the time of this post, it's being reported that seven people have died, including the gunman, however Milwaukee Police have not confirmed that number.

Police first responded to the Molson Coors Brewing Co. campus at 2:11p.m. Shortly after, employees were notified of an active shooter via email. Area schools and businesses were put on lockdown. By 4:45p.m. Milwaukee Police reported there was no active threat, but the scene was still active and asked people to avoid the area.

According to Fox 2 Detroit, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett told reporters,

What has happened is there was a horrific shooting that has occurred. We’re urging all resident and people in this area to stay away from this area. ... They’re continuing their sweep to make sure there is nothing more that’s occurring. It is a horrible, horrible day for the employees here. It’s a very rough day for anyone who is close to this situation.”

This is a developing story.
