We have all heard of restaurants coming up with some crazy concoctions on their burger menu, but this one takes the cake. Well, it actually takes the candy.

The Canadian restaurant chain The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro has just introduced a new burger that is not only topped with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, but also has peanut butter cups stuffed into the half-pound burger patty before it's cooked.

While the food website Delish.com didn't give the Reese’s PBC Burger a great review, saying it “leaves a strange taste in our mouths,” reaction on the chain’s Facebook page has been mostly positive, with one poster calling the $15.98 (Canadian) item, “so wrong that it’s right,” while another called it “strange but delicious.”

But if you want to taste one you’ll have to head to Canada fast. The burger will only be on the menu until January 10th.

Happy National Nut Day! It's true...we've gone a little nuts, by stuffing and topping this burger with Reese Peanut Butter Cups!! Today we dare you to try the Reese PBC #nationalnutday

In other wacky food news…

  • Taco Bell is reportedly testing out a croissant taco. The item, currently available in Cleveland, Ohio stores only, is described as a "flaky croissant folded into the shape of a taco and filled with ... bacon or sausage, eggs and cheese.” Of course this isn’t the first strange breakfast taco from Taco Bell. Their first attempt at the breakfast taco was the waffle taco, which was replaced earlier this year by the biscuit taco. Um, Yum!
