Tom Brady threw three touchdowns and LeGarrette Blount ran for three more TDs Sunday in leading the host New England Patriots into the Super Bowl with a 45-7 AFC Championship victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

The Patriots will play Seattle, which beat Green Bay 28-22 in overtime in the NFC Championship in Seattle, in Super Bowl XLIX on Feb. 1 in Glendale, Ariz.

New England (14-4) took a 21-7 halftime lead and busted it open with three third-quarter touchdowns in a rainstorm.

Brady completed 23 of 35 passes for 226 yards, with Julian Edelman catching nine receptions for 98 yards. Blount had 148 yards on 30 carries.

Indianapolis' Andrew Luck completed 12 of 33 passes for 126 yards with two interceptions for the Colts (13-6).

Brady and New England Coach Bill Belichik are making their sixth trip together to the Super Bowl. By advancing, the Patriots tie Dallas and Pittsburgh for most appearances in the NFL's championship game with eight apiece.

The Patriots won Super Bowl titles in 2001, 2003 and 2004 -- three of Brady's first four years as New England's starting quarterback.

The Colts lost 43-22 in last season's AFC divisional playoff in Foxborough, Mass., with Blount rushing for 166 yards and four touchdowns. Earlier this season on Nov. 16, the Colts lost 43-22 as host New England's Jonas Gray rushed for 201 yards and four touchdowns.
