Get ready for 7 straight days of fireworks for this year's Fourth of July.  After a change in Michigan's fireworks laws last year, many people are confused about exactly when and during what times they are allowed to celebrate holidays with fireworks.

According to, "From June 29 to July 5 this year, consumer fireworks are permissible statewide until 11:45 p.m. each evening."  For the 7 days between June 29th and July 5th, you can start launching fireworks off at 11:00 a.m. each morning and can do so until just before midnight.

The law changed from last year when the fireworks restrictions were limited to only 30 specific days each year.
