Nick Thune's comedy is a style best probably described as having preposterous views and deadpan wit.

He spoke with me for "The Jojo Show" about a variety of topics.

Thune is appearing with Brody Stevens tonight and Saturday in four shows for Gilda's LaughFest in Grand Rapids.

Thune's and Stevens' performances are at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. EST tonight and Saturday at The Pyramid Scheme, 68 Commerce Avenue SW in Grand Rapids. Tickets are still available.

Thune is a 35-year-old comedian-actor from Seattle, and he combines his stand-up comedy with the hushed lull of his quitar.

He has appeared on NBC's "The Tonight Show" and "The Late Show," a favorite of Jimmy Fallon's, and TBS' "Conan." He has a comedy special available on Netflix and iTunes titled "Folk Hero," his taped show from a performance at the Bell Theatre in Brooklyn, N.Y., and he has also had a omedy Central special .

You can follow Nick on Twitter and on his blog.

Besides his stand-up comedy, Stevens stars and produce his own Comedy Central special titled "Brody Stevens: Enjoy It!,"" which is co-created and -produced by Zach Galifianakis. You can follow Stevens on Twitter and his podcast series "The Steven Brody Stevens Festival of Friendship" available on iTune.
