Oberon On! Bell’s Brewery Hosts Virtual Oberon Day
Every year, Michiganders get a taste of summer with the release of Oberon. However, with the coronavirus pandemic going on, things are a little different this year.
Bell's Brewery planned on having their release party on March 23 but they weren't going to let some government shutdown stop them from still having a party so they instead hosted a virtual toast on their Facebook page on Monday evening.
Founder, Larry Bell, started off with a quick history of Oberon (fun fact the name came from a Shakespeare play) and that how now more than ever is when we should be having "virtual toasts."
Bell's Brewery is considered an "essential business" therefore staff are still making beer to get that delivered across the country.
Per Larry Bell,
Cheers to your health, to your happiness happiness, and to having a beer with you on the other side...
To make your Oberon Day even more complete, the brewery came up with a playlist you can kick back and listen to.
Even if you don't have Oberon, you can still celebrate the return of summer with some of these ideas such as any drink that makes you happy, a special recipe, or even your favorite beer glass. Cheers!
