NORMAN GREENBAUM – SPIRIT IN THE SKY: Hit #3 in 1970 but would go on to be a Gold Record selling over 500,000 copies. Norman was also a member of Dr. West's Medicine show and came close to anther Top 40 Hit with "Canned Ham" that hit #46

RAM JAM – BLACK BETTY: This New York rock band did a cover of a song originally written by a legendary black folksinger named Hudie Ledbetter also know as Leadbelly. And one of the guitarists played for the Lemon Pipers...another one hit wonder band in the 60's.

T. REX – BANG A GONG(Get It On): This English rock band reached #10 in 1972 and this song became quite a rock anthem.

NAZARETH – LOVE HURTS: This Scottish Hard Rock band reached #8 in 1975. And that would be the only song even close to the Top 40. Some of their album cuts included "Broken Down Angel" and "Hair of the Dog"

FREE – ALL RIGHT NOW: This English Rock band featured Paul Rogers on vocals and while Free would only have one hit. Paul also became lead singer for Bad Company and the Firm. "All Right Now" reached #4 -1970
