Oops! Truck Hits the US 131 Overpass at Leonard This Morning

It’s true.  Size does matter, as proof of an accident this morning at Leonard and US-131.

According to WZZM 13, A construction crew in the process of moving a lift to a new location, and failed to completely lower the upper basket making the load around 17 feet tall.

The 131 overpass at Leonard has a bridge height sign that reads 14ft 5in.

WZZM 13 reports no one was hurt and that there was no visible damage to the bridge, but MDOT would look at the structure and make the final say.
