OUTSIDE DINING DOWNTOWN GR

The weather has been perfect this week in West Michigan. So why not take advantage of all the options to do things outside in Downtown Grand Rapids.

Uccello's Ristorante Downtown: You probably already know them from their other locations around GR. They have daily specials like 1/2 Off Pasta on Mondays  & $4 Drafts from 4-8pm, Tues half-off Burritos, Weds and Sunday Kids eat free with an Adult. Great Pizza and other Italian items. Open Mon-Thurs 11A - Mid, Friday 11A -2A and Sun Noon to 10P.

Cinco De Mayo Mexican Restaurant on Monroe Center St, NW: Even after they had their windows broken out from the protest. Cinco De Mayo Mexican Restaurant is OPEN on Monroe Center St, NW. Including outside dining. Try their build your own tacos. You have to love their spirit to keep going after what happened. Try their Caliente Hot Sauce.

Parsley Mediterranean Grille: On the corner of Ottawa & Monroe Center is Parsley offerings Salads, Gyros, Fattoush, Tabouli, Baba Ghannouj and more. They still may have their special on Founders ALL DAY IPA too. Sit in the shade and enjoy your meal while street performers play a Saxophone.

JIMMY JOHN'S: Need a quick bite try their Roast Beef, The Pepe, Totally Tuna or Turkey Tom. Open til 9P on weekdays. Grab a sandwich, some chips, drink and enjoy outdoor dining.

House of Wine is open for business on 53 Monroe Center St NW right next to Brick & Porter. House of Wine already had outside seating on the sidewalk. Now that Monroe Center is blocked off you can purchase wine and enjoy it on the tables and section designated for House of Wine. Not only is that great for social distancing, but there are some great trees on the street and so happy to see that the city of GR has done that for all the restaurants on the street. Also Every Monday they offer Free Wine Tastings of two wines and for just $1.00 more you can taste a third wine too. Owner Jim Lynch or Sommelier Summer will take your through the tastings.

BRICK & PORTER: If Wine isn't your thing and Beer is this is your place. This a very popular Restaurant that has a Passion for Beer with up to 20 on Tap. Also offering great 1/2 pound Burgers, Steaks and Salmon, Seoul Brother's Beef Stir Fry, plus Fish & Chips. Open 7 days a week starting at 11A.
