Two of the most-loved acts of the mid-to-late ‘70s will be hitting the stage together this summer. Peter Frampton and Cheap Trick will embark on a co-headlining tour of North America starting in June.

So far only eight dates have been announced, but more are expected.

As of now, the tour begins on June 6 in Lincoln, Calif., and will end on Aug. 5 in Toronto. There are no Michigan dates yet.

Last summer, Frampton issued his 15th studio album, "Hummingbird In A Box," and toured with The Doobie Brothers.

On May 2, a month before the tour begins, Cheap Trick will play the Carolina Rebellion Festival in Charlotte, N.C. Slash and Sammy Hagar are also on the bill.
