Major League Baseball could be back by end of June or early July - so definitely by July 4th weekend. But here are some of the proposed changes yet to be approved.

Games to be played in local ball parks, but without fans initially. And say goodbye to American League and National League there could be new MLB divisions of ten teams. The Detroit Tigers would end up in the new Central.

And that creates new rivalries that would be really exciting like Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Brewers. Also in the new Central Division would be the Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, KC Royals, Cincy Reds, Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins and the Atlanta Braves.

Playoffs get complicated – so we could have two teams from previous American or National League in the World Series. 12 teams would qualify with the Top 4 for each division. And talk of bottom teams playing for a Wild Card Spot.

Yes it’s complicated, but right now any Baseball is better than nothing! And who doesn’t what to see the Tigers and Cubs?
