Historically, there is a pretty low chance of snow falling on Thanksgiving Day in West Michigan, but this year could be different because of a polar vortex pushing down into the Great Lakes Region.  The cold airs that it is bringing across Lake Michigan could bring snowfall to West Michigan.

Roads could be messy on Thanksgiving and Black Friday due to steady snowfall from the storms caused by the polar vortex.  According to WOOD TV 8, there is about a 50% chance of snow on Thanksgiving.  And other outlets like Accuweather are predicting snowfall on Black Friday.

Would you like to see snow falling over the Holiday Weekend or would you just rather wait to see white on the ground until closer to Christmas?
