In 2008, Preakness officials in their infinite wisdom and continuing in their annual tradition of bonehead moves (see 2009 and BYOB policy) decided to put a gap in between toilets to deter the annual 40 yard dashes. Some people made it, some people bounced off and then some people just knocked themselves out.
