Note to self: When you host a question-and-answer session, you should consider actually answering some questions.

Unfortunately, no one told that to Prince. Just when we thought he was moving into the 21st century, we find out that he’s still the same guy we thought was strange and elusive in the 80s.

Death and Taxes Magazine says that Prince joined Facebook on Tuesday to hold a Q-and-A to promote his two new albums. Naturally, fans flooded the page with questions. But he didn’t answer any of them for hours.

Later, after everyone thought that all was lost, Prince decided to answer one question. And which one did he deem worthy of his response? This one – “Please address the importance of ALL music being tuned to 432hz sound frequencies.” And his answer was simply the words, “The Gold Standard.” He also included a link to a highly technical article from Collective Evolution on the subject.

But honestly, did we expect anything less from the man who once told Weird Al Yankovic not to make eye contact with him? Listen as Weird Al shares that story with NBC's Seth Myers. (courtesy NBC)

And TMZ wonders what would have been had Weird Al been given the thumbs up by Prince.
