For the second week in a row, Steve is reviewing 3 big new Hollywood releases.  We are checking out Samuel L. Jackson's new movie "Protégé", Hugh Jackman's "Reminiscence", and the kids cartoon "PAW Patrol: The Movie".


Protégé

Protégé is the story of a girl who was rescued as a child by a world famous assassin and trained in the family business. But when her mentor is killed, she is bent on getting revenge and she won't let anyone get in her way.

Protégé is getting mixed reviews from critics with Rotten Tomatoes scoring it a 68%, but metacritic only gave it a 45/100.  You can see Protégé in theaters right now.


Reminiscence

Hugh Jackman stars in this sci-fi thriller that takes place in the near future after global warming has flooded costal cities across the globe.  People are now using a new technology to to escape reality and a private investigator is using that tech to get into the mind of a missing person so he can find her.

Reminiscence is not getting great reviews with Rotten Tomatoes scoring it a 46% and metacritic right on par with a 46/100. You can see Reminiscence in theaters right now.


PAW Patrol: The Movie

The final movie out this weekend is PAW Patrol: The movie.  The kids cartoon has finally made it to the big screen and those cute little puppies are ready to save the day. After a cat lover gets elected mayor, the PAW Patrol has to stop his evil plans to ruin the city.

Paw Patrol: The Movie is getting pretty solid reviews from Rotten Tomatoes with a score of 88%, but metacritic isn’t as generous with a 52/100.  You can see Paw Patrol: The Movie in theaters right now.
