Yes, that's not a typo. You can buy a lighthouse...and in some cases it might even be free! And these aren't bottom-of-the-barrel lighthouses...no sir. These are top of the line lighthouses on actual bodies of water you have heard of!

Great story from Yahoo News. The General Services Administration is selling and auctioning off lighthouses around the country, including ones in Wisconsin and Michigan, that have either fallen into disrepair or that States don't want to pay for the upkeep anymore.

You could own a lighthouse in Kenosha, Wisconsin, or the lighthouse at Alpena Light. But hury-the auctions end tomorrow.
