A local magician from Hudsonville won $10,000 on Tuesday night thanks to an AMC reality show! Maciej Biezunski won the money as part of "Road Show", a new show in which "crews do a whirlwind stop in small American towns to audition local acts, pick four to follow and wind up the show with a one-night finalist competition to select a winner."

The story from MLive "Hudsonville magician wins $10,000 as best talent for television reality show" explains

"An audience of more than 150 filled the Park Theater in Holland to watch the local final four acts perform before voting for their favorite. 'This is live audience voting. People picking the top act and watching them win in one exciting hour,' said show producer Laurie Girion, who was in Holland with a 25-person staff to shoot five days of local action. The AMC series is being produced by StoryVision Entertainment of Los Angeles. Girion said she could not give a date yet when the show will air or the names of the other seven cities where the show will be shot."

Congrats to Maciej, who said winning the money was "life changing" and that his 10 year commitment to his magic has finally paid off.
