Remembering Tom Petty’s Last Grand Rapids Concert [Video]

Tom Petty's passing took many of us by surprise, but it also brought back fond memories of concerts past by Tom, who seemed to have an extra level of energy while on stage.

His last show in Grand Rapids, was May 30, 2008 and has been well documented online.

Petty kicked off his 2008 tour in Grand Rapids to a sold out Van Andel Arena. He had just released a solo album with some of his old Mudcrutch band mates. (Mudcrutch was Petty's second band growing up in Gainesville, Florida, the Heartbreakers came later).

The setlist included may crowd favorites including Free Fallin', The Waiting, Mary Jane's Last Dance and Refugee.
