Prior to his turn at TV stardom in the hit sit-com "Roseanne" and even before his iconic role as Walter in the movie "The Big Lebowski," John Goodman took to the stage and danced up a storm in Talking Heads' 1986 video smash, "Wild Wild Life".

It seems light years ago that an agile and almost slim Goodman did his turn in the video, which also was part of a feature film released by the band, "True Stories", in which Goodman played a country music-singing software technician named Louis Fyne.

Although the song hit the U.S.' top 10, the movie bombed at the box office. So, more people probably saw Goodman on MTV than in the movie theaters.

Currently, the film has a respectable 75 score score on the film rating site Rotten Tomatoes.

Also featured in the video, the Talking Heads' Jerry Harrison parodies Prince and an unidentified actress lampoons Sinead O'Connor's bald head.

"My favorite T. Heads video, the most fun to make," Harrison recalled in the liner notes of Once in a Lifetime: The Best of Talking Heads. "I always wondered what Prince thought of it."
