Reward For Info On Person Who Arrowed a Cat
Someone shot a cat with an arrow. The reward for the capture of that individual has now doubled.
According to WOOD, the Humane Society of Mid Michigan has matched a reward that was donated, bringing the total to $1,300 in order to capture the person who arrowed the cat.
A cat that has since been given the name Wayland, was found shot with an arrow near the shoulders. The Humane society said the cat was found on Holland Lake Road just north of Sheridan in Montcalm County.
According to the humane society, the cat was probably shot two or three weeks ago and has been suffering until recently.
Montcalm County's Animal Control officer, Autumn DeVries said, "He was a lucky kitty and (the arrow) missed all of his vitals. Regardless of having an arrow through him and all the suffering he probably went through, he was still in great spirits. He purred."
A veterinarian successfully removed the arrow but there is some serious recovery time ahead for Wayland.
