If you're driving in downtown Grand Rapids on Thursday keep an eye out for robots in the street!

The robot parade starts at 5:30pm on Thursday, October 5, at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum. The parade will end at the ArtPrize HUB/HQ at 41 Sheldon Blvd SE around 6pm.

All are invited to come and watch along the short parade route which will feature 10 FIRST Robotics teams and about 12 robots. The parade will cross Fulton at the crosswalk where the robots will use the walk/don't walk sign, which seems very polite of them.

The parade will be followed by a keynote address by Don Bossi, the President of FIRST Robotics, at 7pm in the ArtPrize Studio at the ArtPrize HUB/HQ. The talk will discuss the role of educators, parents, and business leaders; and the places where art and science converge.
