Rory McIlroy Is A Good Son…He Could Win His Dad $325k If He Wins The British Open!

Rory McIlroy is on a pretty hot streak now...even though he had issues at the end of the Masters. (he was leading in the final round and shot an 80-Ouch!) He just set all kinds of records in winning the US Open, and now, if he wins the British Open, his Dad could cash a pretty big payday along with his son!

In this Yahoo sports blog story, "Rory McIlroy could get his dad a huge payday with British Open win" McIlroy's dad made a bet a 7 years back with a couple of friends that Rory would win the British Open before he turns 25.

So as long as Rory hits it in the next 3 years, (which he could do this year--he's already a 7/1 favorite to win according to some Vegas bookmakers) His Dad will hit it--for about $325,000...not too shabby!
