Say It Ain’t So! “Elmo” Voice Actor In Sex Scandal [POLL]

Elmo from Sesame Street might say "It’s a monster thing!", but for the actor who does Elmo's voice, it might be a bad thing. Kevin Clash, who has been the Muppet character on the popular preschool PBS show since 1987, is being implicated in an underage sex scandal.

Fox News is reporting that Clash had an underage sex affair with a 16 year old boy. Clash denies the acts happened before the boy was of age. Clash said in the story "The voice of Sesame Street's Elmo denies he had gay sex with a minor"
"I had a relationship with [the accuser]. It was between two consenting adults and I am deeply saddened that he is trying to make it into something it was not."

Clash has taken a leave of absence from the show while this is being sorted out. Does this change your opinion of Clash and Elmo? My kids are way past the Sesame Street age, so I don't really care what the guy does in his private life.
