As of yesterday Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette filed suit to stop the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians from building a $245 million casino in Lansing.

The suit says it would violate the terms of the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act in 1993 by not entering into revenue-sharing agreements with other tribes.

 

But the bigger question is, do we need another casino?
