Anyone looking forward to apple picking, cider, and doughnuts this fall at Sietsma Orchards this fall will have to find another place to go.

Over the weekend, Sietsma Orchards and Cider Mill in Ada announced it is closing for good.

On July 28, owners Skip and Diane Sietsema posted about the decision to Facebook.

According to Grand Rapids Magazine, Sietsma Orchards on 8540 2 Mile Rd NE was founded in 1954.

In a Tweet, Seitsma Orchards shared that the production of hard cider continues and plans for a tap room to open this fall in Cedar Springs are still in place.
