Snow Expected Tonight , Get Out Your Flamethrowers [Video]
A Kentucky man went viral over the weekend for clearing his driveway from snow using a flamethrower. But does it work? I have the answer.
Timothy Browning became a viral video star over the weekend when he cleaned some heavy, wet snow off his driveway using a flamethrower.
With two to four inches of snow in the West Michigan forecast for Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, is this an effective way to clear snow?
Keep in mind, that was no garden level flamethrower he used there, that was a high grade, diesel spitting pro level flamethrower.
Which begs the question, is this is a good idea, and more importantly, is it effective when it gets REALLY cold? And would a garden flamethrower, easily available online, do the trick?
Someone tested the fire as snow removal too question recently, so let's see what they say.
The conclusion: If you have a giant diesel powered flame thrower, you may get a positive result, but those low end, low powered flame throwers are worthless against snow.
