As COVID-19 continues to rise in Michigan, thankfully there are more places to get tested for free, and quickly.

SpartanNash announced that they are now offering free COVID-19 testing at five of their stores in West Michigan.

The company has partnered with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to provide the free testing, which will take place by appointment only.

The testing will be offered at pharmacies at the following stores:

  • D&W Fresh Market – 2022 Apple Orchard Ave. in Grand Rapids
  • Family Fare – 6370 Lake Michigan Drive in Allendale
  • Family Fare – 2245 84th St. SW in Byron Center
  • Family Fare – 2900 Burlingame Ave. SW in Wyoming
  • Family Fare – 993 Butternut Dr. in Holland

When going for your appointment, you will pull up to the drive-thru of the pharmacy and you will self-administer the test via nasal swab. Results are back in 3-5 days. Testing is available for those with symptoms and whom are asymptomatic.

You must first take a short survey and then make your appointment. Click here for Family Fare or here for D&W.
