As the drawbridge goes up, the traffic cones stay in place. It's magic!

As Elphaba sings in the Broadway musical 'Wicked':

It's time to try defying gravity
I think I'll try defying gravity
And you can't pull me down

And so it seems that a traffic cone in St. Joseph recently channeled Elphaba and hung above the ground magically this week.

Not really.

The cones are probably held in place by a post, but we can dream of magical traffic cones, can't we?

And why can they have a post for traffic cones on a bridge, when the ones on the highway just go flying all over the place when just bumped a little? The world may never know.
