This might affect your daily coffee routine but then again what hasn't been affected yet due to the coronavirus?

Starbucks announced that for the next two weeks their U.S. and Canada stores will transform into "to-go" only. This means no one will be allowed to sit in the cafes or patio areas. Customers will be able to order their daily coffee through the app, drive-thru, delivery, and at the counter. For those who order at the counter, have to leave once they get their drink.

Starbucks stores inside of malls and campuses are temporarily closed since they're considered "high social" areas.

In a letter from the company's CEO, he stated that since the outbreak, they have

...increased cleaning and sanitizing, to pausing reusable cups. We then made the decision to temporarily expand catastrophe pay for partners impacted by COVID-19, so you never have to choose between work and taking care of your health.

They've also modified their condiment bar and cash-handling procedures.
