Taco Bell CEO, Mark King, announced in a letter to fans and employees, on the Taco Bell website,  that Taco Bell is preparing to only serve customers through the drive-thru and delivery in areas across the U.S. where mandated public closures are announced.

This wouldn't be at all locations, yet, but when local or state officials decide self-quarantining is needed in areas, Taco Bell would switch to Drive-thru only, and close stores when needed.

King says they are taking these steps so they can do their part in helping with social distancing to ensure the health and safety of their team members as well as still being able to give Taco Bell fans the food they love, especially while everything is constantly changing.  I

The statement says that Taco Bell is going to redefine what it means to be a social brand “during this coronavirus pandemic”. It also goes on to say that employees who have to stay home because of illness or because their restaurant is closed, they will continue to be paid.

No word yet on any of our Taco Bells’ going drive-thru only. The announcement said they continue to update through their website.
