As summer nears and camping season in Michigan kicks into high gear, one Michigan state park is preparing for some big changes.

Tahquamenon Falls State Park is a popular summer destination. The park also offers a variety of ways to enjoy winter including dog sled rides, snow shoeing and more.

A new study just out last week shows that recreational vehicle vacations cost less than other forms of vacation travel, even when factoring in fuel prices and the cost of RV ownership. The study found savings of 27 percent to 62 percent for a four-person group and 15 percent to 48 percent for two-person group, according to the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association.
