A new bill signed into law this week aims to increase animal safety in Michigan.

The adorable little girl is sticking to her story that she absolutely DID NOT write her name on the cat, despite the damning evidence.

This is sad news really.  Poor kitty! Have a look at this cat!  It ended up at a shelter in New Mexico - and they had put it on a diet and it had actually lost 2 pounds before it passed away.  Here's my question though, how did the cat this fat to begin with anyway?  I love my cats, but really,but this thing hit 38 pounds! I think my cats are around 14LBS!

  Wow, this is kind of weird, but yet not. Check out this can and it's super short legs.  It moves around like some kind of weirdo rodent. Seems like a nice enough cat, but judge for yourself!

Okay, this is an odd story but... a central Ohio animal shelter with an abundance of chubby cats is having a sale on its fattest cats -  hoping a discount entices potential owners to take one home.  Why doesn't the shelter just feed them less!
