college

Like some kids, I had a job during college. I was lucky enough to work at a radio station while I was in school to make some extra cash. SI had grants and loans to actually pay for school however. Some kids of course have to pay for their own college. But this is 2013. Kids around MSU and UofM have found a new, more creative way to get their tuition taken care of.

I'm a proud - well sort of proud graduate of GVSU in Broadcasting.  Still paying for it for that matter. Ever wish you could go back to college and do it all over again? Not the parties (although that would be nice, too), but your major. Did you graduate with a major that you quickly found out was a giant waste of time?

Well, a sign of the times. College has gotten so expensive that these guys are literally turning to "Sugar Daddies" to help the pay for school.  I'm not passing  judgment here, or whatever, but college has gotten so expensive, I guess in some ways I can't blame them!

Wow...thank God we have the weekend to take in all the football overload! No more than 7,348 local high school, college and pro teams take the gridiron this weekend! OK, maybe not 7,348...but about 40 or so will be sweatin' it out!

Well, better late than never... An Oregon man who dropped out of college just short of graduation in 1932 has earned his degree at age 99 - Just before 100 - Good goin' grandpa!
