Shelters across the U.S. are facing a crisis with less pet adoptions but more animal intakes.

Over 4,000 animals were placed in homes in the previous Empty the Shelters.

Fill your home this holiday season with the love from a new pet.

45 shelters in Michigan will be participating in the event.

Adoptions will be only $25, with Bissell Pet Foundation covering the rest of the adoption cost. 36 Michigan animal shelters will be participating.

Another busy fall weekend. There are festivals, movies, hockey, stage shows, comedy, trains, MercyMe, and a chance to adopt a furry friend.

We have a chance to Empty the Shelters, Tulips, the Kentucky Derby, Cinco de Mayo, a Farmer’s Market, a Mom’s Sale, a Shooting Competition, Free Comic Books and more! Get out and enjoy the first weekend in May.
