Last year, Grand Rapids' half-a-century old celebration of art and music was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, Festival of the Arts has made some adjustments.
Grand Rapids' Festival of the Arts, which was set to celebrate its 50th year this year, has announced the cancellation of this year's event due to COVID-19. It was set to take place June 5-7, 2020.
Oh we feel so Festive! The Festival of the Arts is happening this weekend. There is also an Anime Convention, Movies, Comedy, Free Fishing, Princesses, a 5K, Kielbasa and Adult Laser Tag.
Not only is it the Festival of the Arts in downtown Grand Rapids this weekend, but there are also a couple of concerts and plays, two different runs, a free dental clinic, a reptile & exotic pet show, and a chance to adopt a dog.
The 48th annual Festival of the Arts is this weekend in Grand Rapids!
Festival opens at noon on Friday and runs until 6PM on Sunday.
