Work is underway on a new splash pad at a Grand Rapids' park!

A new splash park will be part of an over $800,000 upgrade coming to Garfield Park in 2022.

With the first day of spring coming up on Saturday, March 20th, many people will be heading to area parks to enjoy the nice weather. Now you will be able to access free Wi-Fi at some of the parks in the Grand Rapids area.

Valentine's Day is coming up on Sunday, February 14th. If you are looking for something unique to do with your loved one...how about a walk through one of our city parks with the pathway lit up by luminaries?

We have chocolate, we have food, new homes, remodeled homes, comedy, free bike helmets, summer reading, a dog park grand opening and free pinball! Wow, something for everyone this weekend.

They will be celebrating the start of summer in Rockford! You have a couple of choices of where to watch movies this weekend -- along the river or on a ship. We have Baseball and Concerts, along with a Musical. There is a race and an Asian-Pacific Festival. You can help determine who has the best kielbasa in West Michigan, and there are even free bike helmets for the kids.

Get out and enjoy the nice summer weather. We have carnivals and festivals, food, music, fishing and more!
