First Lady Betty Ford arrived in Grand Rapids yesterday via the Gerald R. Ford International Airport. The plane landed a few minutes before 5pm and was greeted by Governor Snyder and Mayor George Heartwell. The motorcade, carrying the late Betty Ford, then traveled to the Gerald R. Ford Museum for a public viewing and memorial service.
