I saw a story this morning that the Internet is turning 25 today! The REAL guy who came up with the idea (sorry, Al Gore) wrote the paper on March 12, 1989, about "a proposal to make information sharing possible over computers, using nodes and links to create a web that would eventually stretch worldwide and become the modern internet." His name? Sir Timothy Berners-Lee.
