With construction season upon us, we now know when the one of West Michigan's big project starts. MLive reports that a nearly four mile stretch of M-6 will close for repairs for four months starting July 8.

The Michigan Department of Transportation released a map of their 2017 road projects today. If you normally head north on the weekends, it could be a slow go from Grand Rapids up to almost Big Rapids. Three different projects will take place on US-131 beginning in March.
