STIs are on the rise in Michigan and these are the two most common STIs.

Friday morning the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) announced it will be updating its quarantine guidance for the general public to be in line with the CDC's recent recommendations.

The Michigan Bridge Card system, which allows users to to buy food, use cash assistance benefits, and purchase WIC items will down for a portion of time this weekend.

All Michigan families who are eligible for food assistance benefits are receiving an additional monthly payment in October in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) announced this week.

The irony of it all? The man refused to wear a mask at the hospital his sick child was being cared for at.

MDHHS announced Tuesday it's partnering with 22 neighborhood testing sites across the state to offer COVID-19 vaccines in addition to testing.

Attendees who tested positive were all symptomatic at the time of the fair.

The vaccination rate in the state has gone done almost every week since April.

Although most mask mandates and gathering limits have been lifted in Michigan, the Kent County Health Department is reminding folks that they may still need their masks, sometimes.
