With Record Store Day coming up on Saturday and events happening all over the region to celebrate (see other WFGR posts about RSD for details and information) the WFGR air staff all thought it would be cool to post our personal record buying experiences. Sure, if I had a cool one it would be. I don't.

They always say famous people die in three's. First it was Dick Clark, now word from Down Under is 'Men at Work' sax and flute player Greg Ham has passed in his Melbourne home. He was 58. Men at Work was one of the biggest bands in the world in the early 80's, and the flute solo on "Down Under" is as recognizable today as any riff or beat in music history.

Colin Hay,  former lead singer for "Men At Work" recently visited the Bob and Tom show and sang "Overkill",
