It's the first official weekend of summer!
We have a lot of concerts on the list this weekend. Also a couple of activities you could do with the dog. There is Running, Beer, BBQ, Bourbon, Water, Guns, Knives, and Baseball. I'd say there is something on the schedule for just about everybody!
Will Ferrell is no stranger to rivalries, but although the star might be used to coming to blows with John C. Reilly on the big screen (remember 'Step Brothers' and 'Talladega Nights'? yeah, ya do), it seems like he's taking his act to the small screen with a new nemesis. On last night's 'Tonight Show,' a seriously revved up Ferrell hit host Jimmy Fallon's stage alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, who just so happens to look startlingly like Ferrell.
Drummer Chad Smith is outraged, and a little sickened, over a recently released report stating that the CIA employed a music loop featuring the Red Hot Chili Peppers as part of its interrogation of prisoners at Guantanamo Bay.
Red Hot Chili Peppers and Chickenfoot drummer Chad Smith has finally had enough of someone else cashing in on his fame and good looks -- and he's taking strong action to make it stop.
At the Super Bowl on Sunday, the Red Hot Chili Peppers joined Bruno Mars on stage for the halftime show.
Many people noticed that the Red Hot Chili Peppers were not really playing their instruments, but were merely miming it because their instruments were not plugged in.
Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea has issued an open letter admitting that the band wasn't playing their instruments live during Sunday's Super Bowl halftime show, and explaining why they chose to accept the gig despite their views against pre-taped performances.
Once again, the performance of a shirtless person during a Super Bowl halftime show has caused some controversy. However, this time it's not related to the musician's lack of clothes. Apparently, Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers was miming to a backing track during Sunday's performance.
