The massive multi-vehicle crash that shut down a five-mile stretch of I-94 near Galeburg on Friday continues to keep the interstate closed.
Authorities with Michigan State Police and the Michigan Department of Transportation report that 193 vehicles were involved, which includes 76 semis and 117 passenger cars and SUVs, according to WZZM-13. One person was killed and 23 others were injured.
Both directions of I-94 are closed between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek because of a multi-vehicle crash involving semi-trucks.
The interstate is closed between Galesburg and Climax, WZZM-13, Michigan State Police and the Michigan Department of Transportation report.
