After seeing the snowy and potentially dangerous conditions of Grand Rapids bus stops, a Cedar Springs woman has decided to do something about it.
WZZM-13 reports that Wendy Peterson has started a campaign to shovel Grand Rapids bus stops and make them safer for travellers.

Maybe you haven't heard, but the Rapid has a new BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) line called "The Silver Line". I know! It's not like it got ANY publicity. ;)
Monday marks the debut of The Rapid's new $39 million Silver Line, which is described as the area's first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).
The bottom line is this: You'll be able to get from 60th Street to Michigan Street NE and the Medical Mile in less than a half hour. That is 40 percent faster than you can get there using current bus routes with The Rapid.
